Threads was born from my personal frustrations with the tights & nylons shopping experience. As an investment banker, they were a work wardrobe staple for me, yet I struggled to find a brand that was both high quality and affordable. On top of that, it was a pain having to remember to stock up and I would frequently run into the problem of reaching into an empty drawer or scrambling to the nearest drugstore right before a meeting.
The industry is made up of large, old-school players with deeply fragmented supply chains and heavy markups. By working directly with our factory in Italy, Threads is able to offer high quality, luxurious tights at a fraction of the price you're used to paying, with the added convenience of delivery to your home or office on your chosen schedule.
