I wanted to offer the best customer service in our industry. 15 years on myself and my colleagues are still in that mindset, just the company is now bigger.
That was the reason why in 2005 M.I. Supplies Ltd was born, starting with an empty building, no stock and no customers. We took the name from my wife's maiden name and son's middle name (Murray) and my surname (Ingham). I'm afraid our next child, Ruby, hasn't got a look in (she came along too late). From that day till now, all we try to do is improve our customer service experience and ensure what we do, is the best we can do. It's the only way we know how, and we know to have a great business it is the first thing you should concentrate on. My whole working career has been in workwear and safety protection so we will always try to "stick to our knitting" and only look to offer products that are central to our core offering, and where our expertise lies. That way we hope the customer gets the best service possible.
We offer online sales through arguably the best workwear site in the UK, we offer a truly unique B2B ordering portal (helping customers with truly bespoke product selection, expenditure tracking and targeted and driven cost reductions) we supply local to global companies through fixed pricing supply solutions. We try to take our contract supplies to the next level, and include with it continuous cost in use trials – looking to reduce their expenditure – and managed reporting, assisting the customer in their budgets with us. We have had customers on 13 years fixed pricing - unheard of in our industry.
