Our company was founded in 2012 by Jason Duran and Markus Trillsch. Both Jason and Markus have been innovators in the sports supplement industry for many years, developing brands and products that have revolutionized the industry.

Jason Duran along with Robert (Mickey) Wood and Poul Bodholt were the original founders of Cellucor (Woodbolt) way back in 2003, running the company out of a small duplex in college station. Markus joined shortly thereafter and the rest, as they say, is history. In 2011 Jason and Markus decided to resign from Cellucor to start a new company, American Metabolix, that would resist the industry trends to focus on fancy packaging, low cost formulations and gimmicks.
